Student Housing’s University Dining Services produce one of the nation’s finest collegiate dining programs. UDS operates four dining commons (DC) buildings, all four of which are located within the residence hall areas. Residence hall students receive a meal plan as part of the residence hall contract, and non-residents may purchase DC meal plans. Students may also purchase single meals at the dining commons. UDS also operates two convenience store locations, The Junction in Segundo and Trudy’s in Tercero. The Junction and Trudy’s offer a variety of options and do not require a meal plan. UDS also operates a variety of locations on campus, outside of the residence hall areas.
Dining Plans in the Residence Halls
University Dining Services offers four meal plans to residence hall residents, any of which can be paired with an optional declining balance (debit) program, Gold Plus. For more information, refer to the Dining Plans in the Residence Halls page.
Dining Commons (DC)
The UC Davis dining commons are large, state-of-the-art facilities that serve a variety of dishes in an al-a-carte style system. Each residence hall area has at least one DC. For more information, refer to the Dining Commons page.
The Junction and Trudy’s

Dining plans may also be purchased by UC Davis students who do not live in the residence halls, as well as UC Davis staff and faculty.
