Zipcar & Zimride
Zipcar
UC Davis Transportation and Parking Services has brought Zipcar, a carsharing service, to campus. Faculty, staff and students can become members for $35 a year and get $35 in driving free for the first month. The hourly and daily rates include gas, insurance and mileage.
Four Zipcars can be found on campus at Lot 25A (near the ARC), two at Lot 43 (near the Silo) and another two at Mrak Hall Circle.

Zimride
Zimride is a ride-matching service, meaning users can find friends, classmates and coworkers traveling the same way and establish a carpool. The social networking aspect of this service allows users to view profiles before deciding to share a ride. Membership is free and easy at zimride.ucdavis.edu.
