Tri-Cooperatives – General Information
The Tri-Cooperatives are located on Regan Hall Circle, next to the Student Housing Office.
About the Buildings
Build and Design
The Tri-Cooperatives are made up of three craftsman style houses. Each house has a different layout but all include a full kitchen, full bathroom, living area, and bedrooms. Refer to the Tri-Cooperatives [Housing Areas] webpage to view photographs of the Tri-Cooperatives.
The Tri-Cooperatives common spaces are furnished; however residents supply their own bedroom furniture.
The Tri-Cooperatives have a variation of flooring in each house. Prospective residents should contact the community with specific questions.
Kitchens and Bathrooms
There are full kitchens that include countertops for preparing food and are furnished with a full-size stove, range, and refrigerator. Most houses have more than one bathroom with shower or tub.
Closets and Storage
Each room and house offers a different take on storage. The Tri-Coops may include built-in shelving, moveable shelves, and semi-permanent open-area clothing storage.
The Tri-Cooperatives enjoy multiple gardens, lawn, and trees. The community grows a lot of its own food (they also share food with the Baggins End community), and hosts weekly work parties where residents spend time together while tending to the gardens. The lawns are communal, although UC Davis Facilities maintain the lawns themselves.
Residents may access the Orchard Park Apartment laundry facilities to do their laundry; there is one washing machine at the Tri-Coops and in the dry months, the community uses a clothing line to dry their clothes.
The Tri-Cooperatives are an open, approachable community that encourages prospective residents to content them with any questions; please consider emailing them to learn more.
