Other Rate Information
Rental rates are valid for the duration of the year, from August 1 through July 31 of the following year. One month’s rent and a security deposit are due when the lease is signed. Gas, electrical, and telephone services are not included in the rent. There is no charge for water or garbage services. Dining commons meal plans are not included in the rent; residents may purchase separate dining commons plans through University Dining Services. UC Davis participates in Section 8 Voucher Program for low-income residents.
Late Payments
Rent is due at the first of each month. Payments submitted after the 10th (tenth) of each month will be considered delinquent, and a $50 late fee will be applied for each occurrence.
Online Statements
Electronic statements generated from the UC Davis Student Accounting Office include housing charges. Students may log into their UC Davis account (link to sisweb.ucdavid.edu) to view their current account balance, current charges, and any refunds. NOTE: only UC Davis students have the right to access their accounts, but students may elect to give parents, guardians and/or others access to their accounts in order to make payments.
