Media Resource Center

The Media Resource Center (MRC) operates the Student Housing cable network television broadcast, creates a variety of multimedia programming to support both informational bulletin boards and academic programming via television, and manages the monthly broadcast of feature films.

Services and Resources

  • Manages the Student Housing cable network, including all business, technology, planning and delivery services
  • Creates and broadcasts informational bulletin board announcements
  • Creates, writes, directs, films and edits a variety of video broadcasts
  • Negotiates, manages and selects feature films which run on the Student Housing broadcast

Internships

The MRC offers between four and seven paid internships to residence hall students annually. Interns are trained in all areas of production and receive many opportunities to utilize their new skills on live projects in support of the MRC career staff. Interns are selected at the beginning of the academic year; refer to Employment for more information, or contact the MRC
