The Agrarian Effort Cooperative

*Mission Statement*

The Agrarian Effort Cooperative is an ecologically minded, consensus based, garden focused, student housing community that strives to further it's efforts in minimizing it's environmental footprint by building towards sustainability. 

The community prides itself on achieving sustainability through it's efforts in the garden.  The garden provides a large portion of their organic diet during the summer months.  Garden activities are not limited to the growing season as the weather in Davis allows for certain crops to successfully grow anytime during the year.  Next time you are nearby, come swing by our garden, see what's growing and enjoy the scenery. 

Our house is a massive structure that was built originally during the early part of the twentieth century.  It has six bedrooms and two bathrooms that are shared by twelve enthusiastic individuals. 

The Agrarian Effort is located on the core of the campus of the University of California, Davis.  The house is simply one of three houses that are part of the tri-coop community.  The other two houses are known as Davis Student Cooperative and the Pierce Cooperative.  We have tri-coop potlucks once a week and tri-coop meetings once a month.
